During the arrest, security officers confiscated his communication devices and his wife's mobile phone, and shamelessly even denied Bodaghi the right to wear appropriate clothing.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani leaves the country as Taliban edges closer to control of the nation: Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN)Afghan President Ashraf Ghani left the country Sunday, a senior Afghan official and a senior diplomatic source told CNN, as the Taliban engaged in talks with the government in the capital, Kabul, over who will rule the nation. Afghan Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah also confirmed Ghani had left in a video statement. It was not clear where Ghani was going.

Iran: massive strike in the oil industry: In Iran, the oil industry is fragmented through numerous subcontracting companies. No contract or precarious contracts are the rule. Workers are exploited. Since 19 June, a massive strike has taken place. 70 companies are affected by the movement.

Iranian Workers Strike In Different Sectors, Notably Oil And Gas: A wave of labor strikes has hit Iran on Saturday, August 1 in different sectors and plants, including Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane industrial complex, and more importantly in the oil and gas industry. Workers went on strike in the south if Iran, at Abadan, Parsian and Qeshm refineries, and in the Lamerd petrochemical complex, and South Pars oil field. All workers assembled, demanding the implementation of job-classification law and their overdue wages and benefits.
